About JESUS
Most of us have heard about Adam and Eve and the "apple". But why is it so important to us today?
When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, they did the one thing that God asked them not to do - eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This disobedience is called sin. And by doing so they created a separation between people and God. A separation that could never be repaired by people alone.
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
(Romans 3:23)
But God had a plan - a way to bridge the separation between Himself and people - and that was through Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Jesus was fully Human and fully God).
And through Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, we can now have a relationship with God - just as we were meant to have.
But to be fully reconnected with God, we must accept what He did for us - we must believe in Him and accept that Jesus died for our sins.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
(Acts 4:12; 1 Peter 1:18-19; Gal 2:20)
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
(John 3:5-7; Romans 10:9; Matthew 7:21)
SALVATION PRAYER
To receive Jesus, you just have to acknowledge that your sin has separated you from God and the only way to be reconnected with God is through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, that he paid the price of mine and your sin. Here is a simple prayer to pray:
Jesus come into my life, I’m sorry that I tried to live life without you and that my sin has separated me from you. Forgive me of my sin, cleanse me and make whole. Right now, I declare that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart right now that God has raised you from the dead, thank you for saving me, giving me, a new life and I am now a child of God. Amen
